Une d'actualité pour commencer :
J'ai envie de lui répondre : génial ! Que Nintendo se contente de nous satisfaire, nous les joueurs avides de vrais jeux divertissants, plutôt que d'essayer de concevoir des machines "multimédia-tiépi" dans le seul but de ramasser des brouzoufs ! Tsssk... C'est ce genre de propos, comme ceux de Sony qui taxe les consoles Nintendo de "jouets" (ben oui, encore heureux qu'on puisse jouer avec !), qui dévaluent le jeu vidéo et le rélèguent au rang de sous-loisir, derrière le plaisir, que je présume orgasmique, d'écouter sur le disque dur de sa Xbox 360 "Deluxe" les ziques en WMA téléchargées en toute légalité...
Maintenant les gens n'attendent vraiment que deux compagnies. Tout le monde va regarder ce qui va ressortir de cette prochaine génération pour Sony et ce qui va en ressortir pour nous et qui sera le leader cette fois-ci. Ca va vraiment se jouer sur ces deux-là. Nintendo ne fera que satisfaire ses fans et restera à l'écart.

Ben moi je ne trouve que pas Nintendo ait réussi à contenter les joueurs au vu du peu de bons jeux sortis par eux sur GameCube.
Le dernier vrai bon jeu Nintendo auquel j'ai joué c'était Pikmin. Le reste, des suites qui se ressemblent toutes.

Il y a quand même eu des perles sur Gamecube notamment pour les réacs du gameplay dont je suis ( Rockman EXE Transmission ).

F-Zero, c'est un sacré bordel effectivement. Je préférai la version N64, bien plus jouable mais moins impressionante.
Et puis ce sont des jeux Sega finalement, pas Nintendo.

Vous êtes un peu durs avec Wario Ware, Zelda TWW (oui c'est une suite, et alors ?), Metroid Prime (en tout cas le premier, j'ai pas joué au deuxième), l'adaptation de Doshin, qui a permis à tous de découvrir ce jeu, la Nintendo DS qui vaut vraiment quelque chose... Plus sérieusement, et pour en revenir aux propos de Billou, il reproche à Nintendo de ne pas vouloir diversifier son public et de ne pas tenter de faire autre chose que des jeux vidéos. Eh ben ce qu'il reproche à Nintendo, c'est ce que j'aurais tendance à apprécier dans cette compagnie, moi. Et j'aimerais pas que ce soit la raison de Bilou (et accessoirement du marché) qui tromphe, à savoir des machines à faire n'importe quoi et plus le moindre intérêt pour le ludisme...

Le problème, c'est que la philosophie de Billou est en voie de s'imposer: à la manière de Blum qui condamnait le manque de fermeté idéologique du socialisme en parlant du "qu'en dira-t-on communiste", j'ai bien peur que le 'qu'en dira-t-on microsoftien" n'ait une quelconque influence dans la bataille qui s'engage ( n'empêche, ça fait déjà deux générations de consoles qu'on l'attend la grande guerre, je m'impatiente : on compte les morts dont Sega, mais pas de vainqueurs ).

Personnellement je trouve Metroid Prime génial. Il mêle habilement rercherche et action, les graphismes sont très réussis et l'histoire est interessante.
Metroid Prime 2, bien qu'il soit la suite du 1, a bénéficié de nombreuses améliorations genre munitions pour les armes, attaque en vrille et les graphismes sont plus réussis. Le gameplay est toujours aussi bon et les développeurs ont vraiment fait évoluer le jeu rien qu'en apportant le système des 2 mondes parallèles. On voit que les développeurs se sont cassés la tête à chercher de nouvelles idées.
Comme quoi les suites ne sont pas toutes moins bonnes que le premier jeu.
Sinon je trouve que Sony édite plus de jeux que Nintendo mais la plupart sont de moins bonne qualité. Surtout en ce moment!

Je crois quand même que ce n'était pas autant exacerbé : cela rentre dans une mutation plus globale de notre société. Il n'y a qu'à voir l'évolution des autres médias : TV, cinéma, ordinateur, ... A l'époque du duel MD-SNES, le joueur était quand même vainqueur, et ceci quel que soit le support, le budget, les goûts, ... Il y a eu une époque bénie des jeux-vidéos, tout comme certains parlent d'âge d'or du cinéma hollywoodien ou d'autres du temps merveilleux de l'ORTF : nous avons eu la chance d'y goûter, c'est déjà ça. Et comme tout média qui se respecte, le jeu-vidéo ira fatalement vers l'implosion, pour mieux renaître.

Microsoft ne fait de commentaire que sur le marché sur lequel ils se possitionnent. C'est à dire le grand public, dont le coeur de cible sont les 20-30 ans. Et sur ce secteur, son principal concurrent c'est Sony.
Je ne crois pas que Microsoft critique Nintendo, ils constatent seulement que Nintendo va rester positionner sur son marché à lui. Et d'ailleurs, ils ont bien raison. Quel interet d'aller faire la guerre au deux géants que sont Sony et Microsoft.
Si j'ai réagit de manière un peu virulante au sujet des jeux Nintendo, c'est un peu exprès. Je vois pleins de monde lancer des fleurs sur les jeux Nintendo, mais je ne trouve pas que Nintendo fasse plus de jeux innovants que d'autres éditeurs. Sega en avait fait une bonne série sur Dreamcast par exemple. Et SCEJ se défend pas mal aussi.

T'as lu ce que j'ai écrit juste au dessus ? Nintendo ne joue pas dans la même catégorie, alors pourquoi toujours comparer Nintendo à Microsoft ? Nintendo vise les joueurs, tandis que Microsoft et Sony visent avant tout le grand public. Et quand tu vises le grand public, t'en vend plus c'est logique.
Quand a Nintendo qui garde ses surprises pour nous en mettre plein la vue le jour J, on connait merci. Je me rappelle encore de la présentation de la GameCube avec Perfect Dark, Zelda ultra réaliste, et les 128 mario.
Quand à ta pauvre phrase sur le suspens de Microsoft qui a échoué, c'en est de même pour tous les constructeurs. Le design de la GBA avait été dévoilé la veille de la présentation officielle, celui de la DS aussi, etc... A moins de mettre un service de sécurité énorme, les fuites sont toujours possibles. Ced_ : ce qui m'inquiète, c'est que Nintendo ne viserait peut-être pas tant les "vrais" joueurs que ça. Peut-être les développeurs ont encore un semblant de ligne éditoriale dans leur tête. Mais j'émets de plus en plus de doutes pour Nintendo, qui s'ets vu contredit par son public et ses actionnaires de toutes les manières possibles pendant la période GameCube, et par extension Nintendo 64. Le Zelda en cel-shading, l'abandon des éditeurs tiers, etc... Alors que les vraies boulettes de Nintendo (Pokémon Collosseum et la tentative de rentablilser la connexion GBA-GC de façon pitoyable) n'ont pas tellement plus révolté que ça. Et j'ai très peur que les belles paroles de Miyamoto et consorts ("nous essayons de trahir le joueur, dans le meilleur sens du terme..."), ne cèdent la place aux méthodes douteuses dont jai cité un exemple plus haut. Ce slogan martelé depuis la fin de l'époque Super NES, "le jeu et rien que le jeu", serait-il en passe de sombrer aux oubliettes, au nom de la loi du marché et du profit ? Regardons ce qu'est devenu la générarion Nintendo d'avant (dont on prophétisait un avenir de serial killers, ça c'était marrant): la moitié s'est mis à la PlayStation, une partie a lâché la console vidéo, une autre s'accroche à des clichés souffreteux, la dernière -dont je fais partie- est toujours heureuse de jouer à ces jeux souvent bucoliques, parfois simplistes, mais toujours ludiques, ces jeux dont on leur reproche de plus en plus de ne savoir que faire jouer (et rêver, quelque part, en supposant que Zelda soit plus captivant qu'un Burnout...). La génération Nintendo, ce sont des adultes de 25-30 ans. Exactement la classe d'âge visée par Microsoft et Sony.

Une seule lueur à l'horizon : la génération visée par Sony et Nintendo est la nôtre ou un peu plus âgée. Peut-être se trouvera-t-il quelqu'un qui se décidera à exploiter notre basse nostalgie d'une époque où jouer aux jeux-vidéo était divertissant et nous pondra enfin ( et de nouveau ) des jeux dignes de ce nom. Mais j'ai bien peur de très mal appréhender la situation : en fait, nous sommes une minorité, minorité qui se voile la face car n'ayant que peu de contacts avec d'autres catégories de joueurs. En fait, nos fantasmes ne sont que très peu partagés ...

Exploiter la nostalgie ??? Attention Iluro ! Pour Nintendo, exploiter la nostalgie des joueurs, c'est mettre des morceaux de Yoshi's Cookie dans Mario kart Double Dash, ce qui ne lui apporte pas grand-chose de bon. On ne veut pas de revival beauf à base de pixels dégueu et de refourguage de vielles licenses ! Qu'est ce que le revival pour Sega par exemple ? Je ne veux pas que Nintendo se remette à faire des jeux NES, c'est même ce que certains joueurs de PS2 leur reprochent (cf. le fake très ironique de la DS...). On veut des jeux qui se jouent, enfin ! Ca se crée encore de nos jours, j'en suis persuadé. Après, pour ce qui est de nous faire des Sparkster-like, on en reparlera...

Il y a des 25-30 ans qui jouent sur Nintendo, mais ce ne sont pas les mêmes que ceux que visent Sony et Microsoft. Ces deux derniers visent autre chose que les fans de jeux vidéo. Il suffit de regarder qui joue à PES par exemple. Ce ne sont pas des fans de jeux vidéo, mais des fans de foot. Pareil pour NFSU avec les fans de tuning. Ce sont des jeunes actifs qui n'ont que quelques heures par semaine à passer sur leur console.
Nintendo vise quelque part les fans de jeux vidéo, parce que les personnes non fans de JV qui pourraient être interessé par leur univers ne jouent pas aux jeux vidéo. Je pense aux filles notamment. Il ne reste donc plus que les fans de JV pour jouer aux jeux Nintendo.
Bon, là je parle des majorité, il y a bien sur une minorité de fans de JV qui jouent sur PS2 et Xbox, mais ils sont en minorité par rapport aux autres, les non-fans.
Finalement c'est comme pour les DVD. Parmi les acheteurs de dvd, les fans de cinéma sont minoritaires.
Je pense que si Nintendo a du mal en ce moment c'est parce qu'ils ne visent que les fans de JV alors qu'il y a un public qui pourraient s'interesser aux JV et que Sony et Microsoft laisse de coté : les filles et les jeunes (même si ces derniers sont quand même visés par Nintendo). ouaip le design de la gba a été dévoilé certes, cependant la console de microsoft qui se voulait si si si explosive c'est retrouvé dénudé et c'est quand mème un peu pire que la gba (on est pas dans le mème milieux la on est dans les console de salon en partculier avec la génération 256 bits)

Les consoles Next-Gen ne seront PAS des 256 bits, ce seront des 64 bits à tout casser (mais plus probablement des 32 bits).
Si tu veux éviter la guerre des communautés, mets des smileys !
